Concept Gate
During the Concept Phase, a business owner identifies a business need for which a technological solution is required and a preliminary review is conducted to determine if there is sufficient justification to proceed into the Initiation Phase.
The Concept Stage Gate Review considers one deliverable: the Concept Document and whether it justifies proceeding to the Initiation Phase for development of a full Business Need Statement, Project Charter and preliminary Project Management Plan.
