Active Directory
The Digital Academy's second session focused on Active Directory, a system for managing access to resources such as e-mail and printers on local area networks. Network administrators from diverse agencies across the state worked diligently to address the issue of streamlining directory services.
The primary goal of this effort was for agencies to partner with GTA to develop and standardize an enterprise active directory design. Such a design will help agencies to collaborate with the telecommunications outsourcing vendor in managing the delivery of services.
