Samuel D. Holmes
Samuel D. Holmes of Atlanta is a Vice Chairman of CB Richard Ellis, a global real estate services company. He oversees office brokerage and corporate services at the firm’s Atlanta office. Mr. Holmes began his career in real estate brokerage with the Atlanta office of Cushman & Wakefield. He became the firm’s youngest ever Senior Director and consistently ranked within the top five percent of brokers nationally. He has received many awards for his professional achievements and was named one of Atlanta’s top business leaders under 40 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He is regularly included in the Chronicle’s list of “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate.”
Mr. Holmes is a native of Monticello, Ga. He graduated from the University of Georgia and serves as Chairman of the university’s Real Estate Foundation. He is a member of numerous boards of directors, including the University of Georgia Foundation, the university’s Terry College of Business and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Governor Perdue appointed Mr. Holmes to the Commission for a New Georgia as a member of the Capital Construction Committee.
