Connell Stafford
A native of Macon, Connell Stafford is a governmental affairs executive for the Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Stafford served as executive assistant to U.S. Sen. Sam Nunn from 1972 until 1979 when he joined the Coca-Cola Company in the government relations department. In July 1985 he was named assistant vice president, and in 1993 he became vice president of Coca-Cola. In 1998, Mr. Stafford assumed additional responsibilities for international diplomatic affairs, corporate environmental affairs and corporate Latin affairs.
Mr. Stafford received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and his master's degree from the American University in Washington D.C. In addition to his business commitments, Mr. Stafford serves on various boards and was a member of GeorgiaNet's board of directors.
